Pegasus Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy for children and adolescents in Oxford, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire is available through Pegasus Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. Pegasus is a group of independent psychotherapists who are members of the Association of Child Psychotherapists. All have undertaken a rigorous training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy accredited by the Association of Child Psychotherapists.
Pegasus is associated with the Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire region of the British Psychoanalytic Council. Arrangements including fees are discussed at an initial interview.
All therapists
- have worked within NHS or local authority Child and
Family Services.
- are members of the Association of Child
Psychotherapists (ACP) which is recognised by the
Department of Health for accreditation of UK trainings in
Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. Therapists are
accountable to the ACP code of ethics.
- are registered with the British Psychoanalytic
Council (BPC) which represents the profession of
psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Registrants are accountable
to the BPC code of ethics.
